Variable speed pump installation in Gilbert Arizona

I just got hired by a customer recently who purchased a new home In Gilbert Arizona. I've been doing various repairs since I started working for them, but this week was a variable speed pump installation. The customer asked if I could replace the pump, because it was very loud when it ran. The bedroom window was not far from the pump and it was keeping them awake at night. Pool pumps have bearings inside the motor and when those go bad, it causes the pump to become noisy.

The pool has an older automation panel that controls the pump, the valves to isolate the spa, the heater, water feature and lights. The pump required a control wire be run between the panel and the pump, so the panel can communicate with the pump and control it. There is also a remote control.
