Pop up heads repair in Gilbert AZ

Today, I received a contact form entry from a customer in Gilbert Arizona regarding a pop up heads repair. The customer described that the pop up heads had lost pressure and were no longer coming up all the way. This is a common problem with this specific generation A&A Manufacturing (now Pentair) water valve called 'blow-by.' Blow-by is a term used to describe water pressure leaking into cleaning zones that should be sealed off.

This specific generation of water valve, that was sold in the late 90's through the early 2000's, uses tabs to seal off the cleaning zones that are not active at any given time. The tab hinge is not very strong and the glue that holds it in place either breaks free, allowing the tab(s) to rise up, or the plastic hinge breaks allowing the tab(s) to rise up, causing a loss in pressure to the active cleaning zone. To fix this problem, I replaced the water valve with a new one. The manufacture had redesigned the water valve and the new generation no longer has that problem.
